Dr. Hidde Ploegh’s Retirement Symposium
The Pishesha Lab team arrived bright and early at Boston Children’s Hospital to prepare for Dr. Hidde Ploegh’s Retirement Symposium, celebrating Dr. Ploegh’s career of over 40 years of scientific research and mentorship. We were able to meet and listen to inspirational talks from many previous members of the Ploegh Lab, followed by a lively dinner reception and music by The Pogies. Thank you to all our speakers, guests, and friends from all over the world that attended!

Niklas’ Farewell Dinner

Pishesha Lab and Ploegh Lab Holiday Party
As the holiday season draws near, members of the Pishesha Lab and Ploegh Lab gather at Casa Nova (with of course, our favorite Post-Dog Freyja and Ph-Dog Student Tyr) for a cozy dinner and great company. Following dinner is our many-year tradition of a Secret Santa gift exchange with wonderful poems and creative gifts (big gels and DIY-puppet-box). 🎄❄️

Lab Summer Barbeque
On July 4th, the Pishesha Lab took a break from our usual routine to gather for our much-anticipated barbeque. We had delicious Indonesian Satay, Rendang Pulled Pork, an assortment of salads, burgers, fruits, and more! This little get-together was a great way for us to unwind and enjoy each other’s company.

Pishesha Lab Warming
We were thrilled to officially announce that the Pishesha Lab at the Division of Immunology, the Boston Children's Hospital, is finally set up and ready to go! After months of preparation, we're eager to share this milestone. As a thank you for everyone who has been an integral part of the foundation of our lab and our scientific community, contributing not just through their work and guidance but with their spirit and camaraderie as well, we hosted a celebration to warm our new space with good cheer. We of course have to share a taste of Indonesia: Nasi Tumpeng and Kue Lapis Legit. Thank you everyone for coming!
